Jonathan has 14 years of experience as a chef. Eager to learn in every situation he taught himself his trade and then went on the chef school. He apprenticed at Camille’s Restaurant in Victoria. He also worked with celebrated chef Derek Dammann at Restaurant DNA in Montreal.
Jonathan grew up in Toronto and moved to the west coast when he was eighteen. Today he works as a food consultant and private caterer whose emphasis is on wood fired traditional BBQ, charcuterie and naturally cured meats. He was on the Vancouver Island organizing committee for the Canadian Chef Congress event that took place at Providence Farm in Duncan in the fall of 2010.
